Should Christians Pray about the Book of Mormon?

Many of you who have met up with Mormon Missionaries will have seen them go to Moroni 10:3-5 in the Book of Mormon, and ask you to pray and see if what the book of Mormon says is true, is this a biblical way to measure what is true?
