You seem like a very nice person and someone who is open to listening to dissenting opinion. I therefore have a request.

Due to James White's influence, I was a Calvinist until quite recently. Currently however I am experiencing doubts about the subject. One of the people who have caused me to seriously doubt Reformed theology is Christian apologist J.P Holding (who has become a good online friend of mine over the last few years). He has written some articles on the subject and also had a written dialogue in 2005 with James White. Unfortunately the back and forth didn't go that well and as much as I respect Dr. White generally, I don't think he did a terribly good job of countering Holding. In my opinion he was far too dismissive and didn't properly interact with what Holding said.

Ok, so my request. Could you read through the articles Holding has written on Reformed theology and the dialogue he had with White, and possibly do a review? I would be interested to see what you make of Holding's arguments. Here are the articles in question:

http://www.tektonics.org/tulip/ulip.html

http://www.tektonics.org/tulip/whitej01.htmlJason_Ayers_28https://www.blogger.com/profile/10752779457112421501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540071429816533590.post-83695514020610006862012-02-29T14:32:16.917-08:002012-02-29T14:32:16.917-08:00Also, I submit my post of July 2011, "Clairvo...Also, I submit my post of July 2011, "Clairvoyant science and the Deep Blue God."
http://senseofevents.blogspot.com/2011/07/clairvoyant-science-and-deep-blue-god.htmlDonald Sensinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01395472322281027191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540071429816533590.post-17397378316814101442012-02-29T14:17:16.587-08:002012-02-29T14:17:16.587-08:00"It must be granted that the Calvinist point ..."It must be granted that the Calvinist point of view entails a different focus in evangelism than does the Arminian view."

So exactly what is that "different focus"?Donald Sensinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01395472322281027191noreply@blogger.com
