However, given that the main page itself is primarily an advertisement for the various Confronting Believers DVDs, I am led to believe that the description is primarily a tactic to appeal to the potential buyer's fear of systematic oppression. Having once avidly partaken in alternative political media, I have seen that this tactic is effective in building an audience's (often unfounded) trust in a speaker. However, I did read the blog page available on the site, the only link I detected which did not entail some form of digital payment. While it is indeed impossible to prove God's existence, much of the author's argumentation stems from taking scriptural quotes out of context, seemingly willfully misinterpreting Christian theology, and asserting a personal moral code as inherently superior, rather than logically debate theological points or rationalize why the author's moral views are inherently superior to Christian ones or any others. On one hand, the author adressed this issue at the article's end. However, it consisted largely of insulting Christians in general as barbaric and subhuman. Specifically, he denounces any reader that may indicate the author's selective quotation without citing specific examples as not deserving enough respect as a rational person to debate with, though this standard is essentially the same as that used in writing the blog post. Between rationalists, I might recommend seeking a different source, if it is earnestly your intention to proselytize your views.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13651524407155046169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540071429816533590.post-74517881557188960582012-03-03T13:04:04.815-08:002012-03-03T13:04:04.815-08:00Your case rings true to a nextent, but Yeshua was j...Your case rings true to a nextent, but Yeshua was just as unique as any other cult leader, miracle monger and god-man and was just a mere man of his times.Ponder " Confronting Believers" to see why we rationalists find him wanting as a moralist.<br /> http://buy-bull.tumblr.posterous.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
